Science as a thought process and artistic means of expression make abstract concepts more tangible.
To draw attention to the aesthetic value in scientific art, this year the Annual Postdoctoral Symposium will introduce a new program: the Science Art Show!

Award for the best artwork is $60.

Please fill out this form for EACH PIECE of artwork that you will be submitting for the show.

Guidelines for submitting your artwork for the Science Art show:All the submissions will be pre-screened for the appropriateness to be showcased in an academic setting.
Make sure to specify technical requirements to showcase your artwork: Do you need space on the poster board? Table space? A device to play a movie?
Please send a photo or a movie of your artwork to Shashikala Sasidharan (shashikala.sasidhran@gmail.com) no later than March 28, 2018:
* When sending your digital IMAGE use your last name in the file name and a number (if submitting more than one piece). Example: Sasidharan1.png
* When sending a MOVIE upload them to YouTube or Vimeo and e-mail URL of the movie that you are submitting. You can also share a movie using a cloud storage of your choice.
*Use the hashtag #scienceartRUPDA if you want everyone to be able to find your artwork.
